Water & Sewer

The Public Works Department's utility crew maintains approximately 37.5 miles of water mains that serve approximately 3,000 Trotwood customers. Services provided include:

• New construction water lines and locating water taps
• Routine system checks
• Service shut-off and turn-on
• Water sampling for bacteria, lead, and copper

That crew is also responsible for the maintenance and operation of Trotwood's lift station and 30.9 miles of wastewater collection lines. Services provided include:

• Flushing and clearing main wastewater collection lines
• Preventive maintenance and inspection of lines, lift stations, and pumps
