John Wolfe Park Splash Pad (Project # 2017-01)

One of the most attractive and economical amenities that City Management wanted here in Trotwood was a Splash Pad, otherwise known as a Spray Ground. Its a zero-depth area filled with interactive water sprayers and fountains. Splash pads are sought-after in many communities, and the City of Trotwood will soon be fortunate enough to have one! Our goal is to break ground late Summer to early Fall of 2017 and to be fully operational by Spring 2018

The bid opening for this project will be held on August 24, 2017.

John Wolfe Park Dam Replacement (Project # 2017-04)

Improvements to John Wolfe Park Dam/Spillway will consist of removing the walk path, the wooden railing, the deteriorating concrete and tires. The new installation at the Spillway will consist of new fence posts and rails, a new asphalt walk way, a new dam wall and drainage system, rip-rap to control erosion and a new concrete box culvert.

Shiloh Springs Road Improvements (Project # 2017-02)

This project consists of approximately 1.2 miles of milling and resurfacing on Shiloh Springs Road (between Salem Ave and Wolf Road). It will also include lane and directional  markings.

Bid opening was held July 26th; the Project will be awarded in September with construction to be completed by November 2017.

Wolf Creek Pike Resurfacing (Project # 2017-03)

This project consists of approximately 1.4 miles of milling and resurfacing on Wolf Creek Pike (between SR49 and Little Richmond Road). It will also include lane and directional  markings and rumble strips.

Bid opening was held July 26th; the Project will be awarded in September with construction to be completed by November 2017.
