Utility Payments
Utility Billing
The city's Utility Billing Group provides prompt and accurate service to its approximately 9,000 utility customers and is responsible for collecting:
- Residential trash collection charges
- Storm water drainage charges (part of city's new Storm Water Utility, approved by City Council to make sure the city meets unfunded Federal EPA mandates to better manage environmental destruction caused by storm water runoff)
- Water / sanitary sewer charges (pre-1996 incorporated area)
Payment Options
For its utility customers' convenience, the city's payment options now include the following.
Online Payments
Review and pay utility bills online.
Utility Payment Counter
The Utility Payment Counter, located on the 2nd floor of the Trotwood Government Center at 3035 Olive Road, is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Extended hours, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., are held starting 5 business days before the bill's due date every quarter.
Drop Box
A drop box is located in front of the Trotwood Government Center at 3035 Olive Road next to the blue USPS mailbox (the drop box is beige).
Submit By Mail
Use the Return Envelope provided in the billing statement to submit payment by mail.
