    Fraud Alert Notification Program (FAN)

    Montgomery County Recorder Brandon McClain introduces a FREE program to help combat real estate property fraud.  Title fraud is a complex scheme that can cause a homeowner to be in foreclosure without warning. Homeowners or investors of a property must register in order to be notified. Registration is quick and free. Simply go on-line at www.mcrecorder.org or visit Montgomery County Recorder's Office between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm weekdays on the 5th floor of the County Administration Building, 451 West Third St., Dayton, Ohio 45422.     City of Trotwood Smoke Detector Install Program


    Smoke detectors save lives. In the event of a fire, having a working smoke detector could mean the difference between life and death for you and your loved ones! Having properly installed and maintained smoke detectors will provide an early warning signal, so you and your family can escape unharmed.

    City of Trotwood residents may receive free smoke detectors for their home. A professional fire safety official will come to your residence at a mutually agreed upon time to install the smoke detector, also free on charge. Quantities are limited.
