City of Trotwood Smoke Detector Install Program

Smoke detectors save lives. In the event of a fire, having a working smoke detector could mean the difference between life and death for you and your loved ones! Having properly installed and maintained smoke detectors will provide an early warning signal, so you and your family can escape unharmed.

City of Trotwood residents may receive free smoke detectors for their home. A professional fire safety official will come to your residence at a mutually agreed upon time to install the smoke detector, also free on charge. Quantities are limited.

Contact the Trotwood Fire & Rescue Department at 937-854-7270 to schedule the installation for our home.
