The Trotwood City Council has scheduled a Special Meeting on Monday, April 15, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. The purpose of the Special Meeting is to present information to Council regarding a manufacturer interested in locating their business in Trotwood’s Industrial Park. This project – “Project Swifty” – would create 230 full-time jobs and generate over $12 million in new annual payroll by 2028.

In addition, Council may take from the Table, then consider legislation authorizing the Trotwood Community Improvement Corporation (“TCIC”) to enter into loan agreements with Civista Bank. Said funding would be used to repair and redevelopment tax-delinquent single-family properties previously acquired by the TCIC through tax foreclosure action.
