With God’s Grace Mobile Food Pantry Partnering with Trotwood Mayor
Beauty Industry Professionals to be spotlighted at Upcoming Mobile Food Pantry
With God’s Grace Mobile Food Pantry will be spotlighting citizens who work in the Beauty
Industry at the upcoming Mobile Food Pantry in Dayton on Saturday, May 9, 2020. The Food
Pantry will be held from 1-2:30pm.
Trotwood Mayor, Mary McDonald, reached out to With God’s Grace Director Nicole Adkins
about focusing on Beauty Industry Professionals at their upcoming mobile food pantry at 101
Drexel Ave, Dayton, OH. McDonald is a salon owner in addition to being the Mayor of
Trotwood.
“With the Salons, Barbershops, Massage Places being forced to close due to COVID-19, a lot of
these people are struggling. Most work for themselves so they have been inelligible for
unemployment. These people have families to feed just like the rest of us,” said Nicole Adkins,
Director of With God’s Grace Mobile Food Pantry. “Mary McDonald reached out and of course
we would love to show how much our Hair stylists and Barbers mean to us. Mary will be at the
Handout on Saturday to help.”
With God’s Grace has seen an increase in families seeking assistance since COVID-19
happened. On Wednesday, March 6, 2020 they hit an all time record of 1242 Families served in
one day. During the Month of April, With God’s Grace served 9,393 Families in the Miami
Valley.
Anybody can come to any of the With God’s Grace Mobile Food Handouts everytime they are
open. There is no income or zip code restrictions. To see a full schedule of the mobile
