CITY OF TROTWOOD
State of the City Address
Trotwood, Ohio [09/30/2020] – Beginning today, the City of Trotwood will share its annual State of the City address virtually. You can view this event on the City’s website and on their Facebook page.
The State of the City address recognizes the association between residents, businesses, and the City, and how together, they provide essential services, advance key projects, and face challenges throughout the year. During the address, Mayor Mary McDonald will review the past year, as well as discuss future projects and initiatives, topics such as:
Ten million dollars in new capital investments
Upgraded infrastructure to include sanitary sewer lines, water lines, and resurfacing of main thoroughfares and residential streets
For the fifth consecutive year, a balanced budget with no deficit spending
Mayor McDonald is excited to discuss the work that has been happening in the City of Trotwood. “Our residents, City staff, and local businesses came together over the last year to support one another and get things done. The State of the City address is an opportunity to learn about the positive work happening in our City and to hear about the opportunities and challenges we face in the coming year,” said Mayor McDonald.
Trotwood City Manager Quincy E. Pope, Sr. stated, “I don’t think anyone could have predicted what the City of Trotwood has encountered over the last year. The State of the City address reflects on the past year’s accomplishments and outlines what lies ahead for the City of Trotwood. We will remain resilient and continue to be fiscally responsible with our tax dollars.”
