“Hara Arena Memorabilia Unavailable to General Public”

Michael and Cory Heitz, Managing Directors of the Tax Redevelopment, LLC. and owners of the Hara Arena property, had hopes of salvaging the complex and worked with county and city officials to assess the potential needs of the region. However, redeveloping the property would be a challenge due to the extent of the damage due to the Memorial Day tornadoes. So, the decision was made and a contract has been secured to demolish the legendary venue. Unfortunately, memorabilia is unavailable to the general public. However, an auction is planned for the lettering of the historic venue. Proceeds of the auction will benefit the Victory Project of Dayton, Ohio.

Please watch the following websites for future details on the auction or additional information regarding the redevelopment of the Hara Arena site https://www.taxredev.com/ or https://trotwood.org/

City personnel will share information on our website and Facebook pages as the Heitz family provides updates.
