Trotwood, Ohio [04/20/2026] – The City of Trotwood is proud to announce the installation of its Veteran Banner Program, with banners officially displayed today along Salem Avenue between Turner Road and Olive Road. This meaningful initiative honors the service and sacrifice of local veterans who have courageously served our nation.
The Veteran Banner Program was created to recognize and celebrate hometown heroes, showcasing their names and likenesses in a visible and lasting tribute within the community. Each banner serves as a symbol of gratitude, reminding residents and visitors alike of the bravery and dedication of Trotwood’s veterans.
The banners will remain on display throughout the program’s designated season, providing an opportunity for families, friends, and community members to reflect on and celebrate the lives and service of these individuals.
The City extends its sincere appreciation to all participating veterans and their families, as well as the staff and partners who worked to bring this program to life.
