The City of Trotwood Police Department is scheduled for a virtual assessment as part of a program to
achieve accreditation by verifying our professional standards administered by the Commission on
Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc. (CALEA) The program requires agencies to comply
with state of the art standards in four basic areas: policy and procedures, administration, operations,
and support services.
As a part of the virtual assessment, employees of the Trotwood Police Department, members of the
community and law enforcement agencies are invited to offer comments at a public information
session on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, from 3:00 pm until 5:00pm. The session will be conducted at
The Trotwood Government Center, 3035 Olive Rd., Trotwood, Ohio. Additionally, Trotwood Police
Department’s Office employees and members of the public are invited to offer comments by calling
(609) 386-8290 or (757) 262-8200 on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, between 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.
The Assessment Team will be taking telephone comments during those hours. The listed numbers are

Telephone comments, as well as appearances at the public information session, are limited to five (5)
minutes and must address the ability of the Trotwood Police Department’s to comply with the
Commission’s standards. Anyone wanting additional information regarding the accreditation process
