[Trotwood, Ohio – Thursday, March 26, 2020] – Trotwood City Council at their regular meeting on Monday, March 2, 2020, approved the repeal of Ordinance 22-17 and adopted an emergency new Ordinance OR05-20 for the revision of Section II of Ordinance OR22-17. This will give the Community Reinvestment Area Housing Council (CRA) the power to grant tax exemptions for improvements to real property as described under Ohio Revised Code Section 3735.67 (C). Abatements for the construction or remodeling of residential, commercial, or industrial structures located in the Community Reinvestment Area may be granted up to ten (10) years.
