The City of Trotwood is calling on the community to join us for a day of service to create a cleaner and greener community. When it comes to litter, individual actions make a difference; lend a helping hand by removing litter and trash from our city. By taking pride in your community by cleaning up and not littering, you motivate others to do the same.
When others see you care for your community, they care too; one simple action can lead to behavioral changes over time.
How Can You Help?
– Invite a neighbor or family member for a walk through your neighborhood and bring trash bag and gloves with you. During your walk, cleanup litter that you find and dispose of it appropriately in a trash bin.
– Educate your fellow residents on the importance of litter prevention and proper trash disposal; we’re in this together.
– The City will host a community cleanup along East Main Street to clean up the Broadmoor and Old Towne neighborhoods. The city will supply gloves, trash bags, and safety vests for participants.
We’re seeking volunteers, nonprofit organizations, and other stakeholders to donate their time to this endeavor.
