CITY OF TROTWOOD 18TH ANNUAL TREE LIGHTING CEREMONY

catapultCommunity News

The City of Trotwood will hold its 18th Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony virtually on Monday, December 14, 2020 at 6:00pm.

“The Annual Tree-Lighting Ceremony is one of my favorite traditions in the City of Trotwood. Although it will not be the same this year due to the pandemic, we hope to share our holiday spirit through this virtual event in hopes of keeping our community safe,” said Mayor Mary McDonald.

This virtual experience will include: a special message from Santa, story time from the Trotwood Library, announcement of City of Trotwood Police Department annual writing contest winners, lighting of the Trotwood community tree, as well as a holiday message from the City of Trotwood Parks and Recreation Board Members and City Council.

The Tree Lighting Ceremony video can be viewed on the City of Trotwood Facebook, YouTube and trotwood.org.
