During a Special Meeting held last night, Monday, January 22, 2024, the Trotwood City Council voted to appoint Martha H. Clark to fill the Ward 2 Council Member vacancy.

Ms. Clark has been a resident of Trotwood for over 40 years. She previously served on the City’s Board of Zoning Appeals and has volunteered for various other state and local organizations. “Councilwoman Clark’s many years as a resident of Trotwood and her vast experiences has prepared her for this role. I look forward to working with her toward an even brighter future for our city,” said Trotwood Mayor Yvette F. Page.

Mayor Page was elected at the general election in November 2023 and began her term January 1, 2024, creating the Ward 2 vacancy. Councilwoman Clark will serve the remainder of the unexpired term, ending December 31, 2025. Her Oath of Office will be administered prior to the Regular City Council Meeting scheduled on Monday, February 5, 2024.

“We are excited to have Councilwoman Clark join the Trotwood City Council. Her knowledge and experience will be a huge asset as we continue to grow and move our city forward,” said City Manager Quincy E. Pope, Sr.
