Central State Extension will host a Health Fair and Market on Monday, June 28th from 5pm-8pm at the Trotwood Community and Cultural Arts Center, 4000 Lake Center Drive.
The Health Fair and Market will include displays by Central State University Extension, local health partners and community partners. Cooking demonstrations will feature recipes using the produce grown by farmers participating in the beginning farmer classes held onsite at the incubator farms.
The incubator farms are part of “Growing Communities”, a grant-funded program that includes beginning farmer classes, incubator farms, and health and wellness programming for the community. The event will also feature a tour of the incubator farm plots and information about the beginning farmer program.
