2019 CITY OF TROTWOOD INCOME TAX FILING DUE DATE IS EXTENDED TO: JULY 15, 2020
The City of Trotwood Income Tax Support Services is under the Compliance of the Governor DeWine, City Manager Quincy Pope, Mayor and Council of The City of Trotwood.
Currently the lobby has been closed to the public for the duration of this emergency .During this time, our staff will be available by telephone and email inquiries only. Normal customer service operation will resume when the emergency is lifted.
During this time of emergency, you may mail your return to the Income Tax office. There are two drop-boxes. One is available Monday- Friday for larger items 8am-4:45 pm. The other is available 24/7 both are located at the City of Trotwood Income Tax office location 4 Strader Drive Trotwood, Ohio 45426. If the drop box is utilized please only enclose checks or money orders (DO NOT PUT CASH IN DROP BOX)
You may also drop off your information and our staff will complete the return. Our office will send a notice and copy of the return once completed with any additional information needed to be compliant.
We have forms available online that may be printed and completed. A TAX TOOL for e-file of W-2 ONLY filers. Payments may also be made using the tax tool. (Our residents have utilized this service for many years)
Please attached all supporting information such as: W-2’s, 1099’s, Federal 1040 and all supporting schedules.

Currently the IRS has extended the April 15th filing deadline to Wednesday July 15, 2020
In addition, the State of Ohio Legislature passed HB197 on March 25, 2020 extending the filing deadline to July 15, 2020 for the State of Ohio income tax, Ohio school district income tax and Ohio municipal income tax filings.
THE 2019 TAX FILING DUE DATE HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO JULY 15, 2020 FOR THE CITY OF TROTWOOD INCOME TAX.
