The City's Fire Suppression program provides superior fire and life safety services to all individuals and businesses in Trotwood. The Fire Suppression unit responds to all natural and man-made emergencies by operating from 3 stations with full-time and part-time personnel. In order to handle any fire emergency that arises, this program provides:

  • Fire Deputy Chief
  • Fire Marshal
  • Fire Safety Educator
  • 3 Captains
  • 6 Lieutenants
  • 2 Engine Companies
  • 1 Ladder Company
  • 1 Brush Truck
  • 1 Rescue/Hazmat/Air/Command Unit
  • 1 Technical Rescue Truck and Trailer w/Gator and Boat
  • Aggressive training programs
  • Automatic Mutual Aid Response agreements with all neighboring communities.
  • Basic hazardous material intervention
