“Claudine” – Movie & Panel Discussion

In recognition of Black History Month, the City of Trotwood will host a FREE public screening of the film Claudine. This public screening will be held at the Trotwood Branch Public Library (855 E. Main St., Trotwood, OH 45426) on Monday, February 27, 2023, from 5:00 pm – 8:30 pm.

Following the movie screening, we will invite four panelists to hold an open forum and discussion regarding the movie and the social issues addressed within the film that we still see impacting the black community, to this day.  This discussion will be hosted by Mayor Mary A. McDonald and the panelists are:

  • Rhine McLin, Former State Senator, and Former Dayton Mayor
  • Faith Daniels, Program Director, On-Air Personality & Voiceover Talent for 92.1 WROU of Alpha Media USA
  • Sharron Williams, Parks & Recreation Advisory Board Chairperson
