For the fourth year, City of Trotwood’s Mayor Joyce Sutton Cameron will again host neighborhood “Walk-n-Talk” events. This initiative provides the perfect platform to find out how well the City is delivering services and to ask residents what’s on their minds. Dates for 2014 are indicated below:
- Friday, June 13 – Ward 1: Broadmoor I Area
- Friday, July 11 – Ward 2
- Friday, September 19 – Ward 3
- Friday, October 10 – Ward 4
Walks will take place between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., and are always weather permitting. Specific streets to be covered will be communicated on the City’s website (www.trotwood.org) and on our Facebook page.
The first Walk-n-Talk scheduled for June 13 will cover the following areas:
- MacGregor Drive
- Burman Avenue (from MacGregor to Beardsley)
- Vaniman (between N. Eppington & Bradfield)
- Bradfield (between Vaniman and Larona)
- Larona (from Bradfield to Chandler) Chandler (from Larona to Vaniman)
The Mayor will be joined by City Council members, the City Manager, the Public Safety Director/Deputy City Manager, and other City directors and managers. Citizens are encouraged to meet with these officials to discuss any issues and concerns.
