The City of Trotwood’s Civil Service Commission has a vacant seat and is seeking a volunteer to serve for a five (5) year term. It is the Commission’s duty to provide by rule for the determination of merit and fitness as the basis for appointment and promotion in the service of the Municipality as required by the Constitution of Ohio. It shall provide by rule for, and hear, appeals from the action of the Manger or other officer in any case of transfer, reduction, or removal of classified personnel. The Commission meets on the first Wednesday of each month at 5:00 p.m., as needed.
